On a recent photography course I suddenly found myself in the midst of a group of bird watchers who were able to describe, in precise detail, every single bird that they had ever photographed.
They were also able to list the names of the birds they were yet to capture on film together with details of these birds’ preferred habitats.
I have to admit it all went completely over my head, quite literally.
I also have to admit that I have never had any desire whatsoever to sit outside in my garden, camera in hand, waiting to photograph a bird of any description.
Who wants to sit for hours on end watching birds flying around?
But then I saw this video and I take it all back.
I’ve watched it three times and I’m still amazed.
