This morning, with so many big decisions to make about our future and only one opportunity to get it right, I logged off, left it all behind and got back to nature.
I’ve made a decision to pursue my long-neglected love of photography, because it is something I have always wanted to do, so I spent the morning wandering around Sherwood Forest. Just me and my camera.
It proved to be a great way of blowing away the cobwebs. Until I got lost. Then I had to switch my phone back on and use Google maps to guide me to the nearest road.
But still. It was good while it lasted.
On the subject of cobwebs, I’ve been writing about the spider season over on Ready for Ten. Do take a look.
Rosie you never stop amazing me :-) love them all but that ladybird on the holly leaf is fantastic. Alternative Christmas card x

I also love the ladybird one. And you'll be glad to know that there are some lovely forests in Yorkshire too! And moors and dales and lumps of funny rocks... x

Fantastic photos - I love the trees! How could you think of moving away from such a beautiful place? Unless, just guessing here, the trees aren't paying your bills.

Sounds like we will fit in very well in Yorkshire! Hope you are keeping well Maddy. I was thinking of you yesterday, moments before you posted your comment. Spooky. Love to the family. xx

That's exactly it. The trees aren't paying my bills. If they were, I'd be quids in! And we can always come back and visit.

Thanks MM. I knew I wouldn't be able to manage without my phone for more than an hour!
