What an amazing story. Of course I went back and read the January 2010 post. Makes you realize how lucky you are. Thanks for the reminder.

Forgot to say, "Happy Birthday IJ!" :)

Happy Birthday to your little Princess! I'm sure she's proud of you as much as you are proud of her. It must have been very hard for you but all the efforts have paid out. All the best. Ciao. A.

Happy Birthday to IJ and well done Rosie for not giving up and getting her the support she needed

A very happy happy birthday to her!!!!!!!

Wouldn't you just have given a million anything for a glimpse of that photo back then?

I always thought that about Fran's babyhood - just one glimpse of a smiling, beautiful, well repaired face. Just one.

Of course now I know that sneaky glimpses forward are not available because they won't always be good, but oh for the right for a flash of hope when it is going to work out.

Thanks Merry. It would be so much easier wouldn't it if we had the reassurance from the very beginning that it would all work out.

Of course the outcome isn't always good, as you know, sadly, but when life does pick up and the outcome is a positive one, it would be so much easier to get a gimpse of that the happy smiling face that I see with my daughter and you see with Fran.
