IJ: Mum, I think I’ve got x-ray vision.

Me: Er... do you?

IJ: Like I had this time last year.

Me: Okay… what can you see?

IJ: I can sort of sense it.

Me: You can sense you have x-ray vision?

IJ: Yes, and I can see x-rays on my arms. They are making me scratch.

Me: Oh, you mean Eczema.

And I can’t help but feel a little disappointed. Superhero qualities would have been a lot more exciting.
