Look closely.
Very closely.
You may need to look even more closely than that.
It reads: It's the end of the world.
Does one seven-year-old girl know something we don't?
This week's Gallery theme is expressions.
Mine is one of slight concern although suppressing the need to giggle.
How scary... if she starts stockpiling bottles of water and energy bars let me know won't you?!

I guess you haven't bothered to tell her about the power of twitter - or failing that, a tabard - for spreading apocalyptic messages more effectively than simple pen and paper?

Goodness. I hope she doesn't want this printed on a t-shirt!

You know, she's been storing things in her wardrobe for some time. I'm not allowed to look ...

Ok, so that's just a little bit freaky!

Good joined-up writing though.

It is, isn't it. I must ask her what she knows...
Posted by: Rosie Scribble | February 22, 2011 at 07:09 PM
Yes, that's a point. I'd missed that!
Posted by: Rosie Scribble | February 22, 2011 at 07:09 PM
bless her... still, she might be on to something!

does she go on to say, "as we know it, and I feel fine"? Perhaps she is just an REM fan.

I think it might be a message for the residents of Stow-on-the-Wold. It definitely says "the end of the Wold". Watch out, down there in the Cotswolds!

We need to know where they get their inside information from!

Pippa, you're too funny. But oh my lordy, this actually gave me a bit of spine-tingle. Kids know these things. I'm telling you. They're tuned into all sorts that we're not.
The voice of dooooom.
Fantastic photo, or should probably hail the Nostradamus-esque creation.
Brilliant xx

Bless her, did you find out what it was about? I remember writing something along these lines at a similar age after not being allowed to go to someone's house...

I think I need to listen to my 7 year old a little better and maybe I should start reading the scraps of paper that she scribbles on endlessly or not.......do I want to find out what a 7 year old's predictions are going to be? :-)

Yikes! Oh well. We had a good run I guess...
