Life as we know it has ground to a halt.
For today, at least, we cannot venture outside our front door.
Even our 'we-can-cope-in-all-weathers' bin men have not ventured out.
For now, it’s pretty and we are a little mesmerised by it all.
But while one snow day is a novelty, it is likely to wear off as soon as we run out of coffee.
Or chocolate.
I've got the same view out of my window. I'm down the road in Doncaster and I've never seen snow like this before!

Ditto! we would be snowed in if I didn't have a 4x4 and hadn't spent an hour this morning digging out the driveway. Still pretty though...

Wow, beautiful pictures, enjoy making a gazillion snowmen! Wish a little of that weather would head this way, it's only ice and Arctic wind down here.

You have so much more snow than us down south. I cant even build a snowman this am. Enjoy it whilst it lasts - hopefully it will disappear when you run out of chocolate

Our bin looks just like a huge marshmallow too. It's mad isn't it? And I AM out of chocolate. Arghhhhhhh.
