We have suddenly become very popular in our neck of the woods, thanks to the Gingerbread House currently installed in our front room, and the fact that forgetting to draw the curtains has drawn attention to it. Thankfully we have some nice neighbours who are more keen than usual to come over and play.
I am very good at finding fault with things but I simply can’t fault this product, unless you don’t like pink, in which case I hope they bring out some non-pink products in the future, because they really are exceptional.
The Gingerbread House is from the Tube Town inflatable playhouses range which has just launched in the UK. Judging by IJ’s reaction on discovering it had arrived, it was definitely a hit, on first impressions at least. (Please excuse the squealing!)
The Gingerbread House has remained a hit ever since. It is still taking over our front room and IJ has decided to move all but her bed in there. Friends have loved coming round to visit and many hours have been spent playing inside.
I assumed it would be difficult to assemble but all you have to do is inflate it, and it even comes with its own pump. I thought it highly unlikely that the claim it could be inflated in a couple of minutes would hold true in my case, as I’m useless at assembling anything, but amazingly it did. I also expected it to deflate slightly over the time we’ve been using it, but that simply hasn’t happened either.
The quality is excellent and the attention to detail is impressive. It comes with its own storage bag and set of pegs so it can be used outdoors too. The Gingerbread House (measuring 135cm high x 90cm wide x 125cm long when assembled) is priced at £49.99. Stockists include Amazon and Toys R Us.
So far we have loved it and friends have too. I think it is excellent value for money and love the fact that it is easy to inflate and has no hard edges. I would, however, like my front room back some time soon.
We're reviewing this too - got to say we LOVE it. As do half our neighbours and their mothers. Even though it is pink.

It's fabulous isn't it? One of our friends is desperate to get one and really excited about the prospect - as is her daughter! I'd assumed it would be brown but actually, we can live with the pink.
