I have a genuine fear that IJ, in search of some extra pocket money, is thinking of starting her own business. She seems to have spotted a lucrative opportunity to generate funds in a area she excels at. I have always thought it is advisable to play to your strengths, so I am envisaging this: workshops in how to embarrass your mother.
If this business was to take-off then it is likely that the idea was sparked on our recent visit to the china and glass gift shop at Rufford Park.
IJ was under strict instruction not to touch anything. I had hammered home the point that every single thing in this shop was breakable and must not be touched.
So my delightful and very sweet six year old announced,
"I'll touch my body then."
And so I career in how to embarrass your mother in public, in front a small crowd of people, has begun. Who knows where it will end.
I think that IJ and Top Ender have a lot in common...
