At six-years-old, IJ is far too old to be wearing pull-ups at night. However, she does, even though she actually doesn't need to. For her it's a psychological crutch that is is not prepared to give up yet. Since it took years for her to become dry during the day, I'm not making a fuss about it. If I do it might make matters worse. As with everything else, she'll take the next step when she is ready.
The positive side of this is that we can continue to buy Pampers nappies and support the Pampers/UNICEF 'Gift of Life' Campaign to eradicate tetanus by 2012, as outlined in my previous post. For every pack of wipes or nappies purchased with the UNICEF logo, Pampers will donate one tetanus vaccine to UNICEF. In fact we bought these in Tesco who is increasing the number of vaccines donated to three per pack.
We can also support the Campaign by downloading a free copy of Angelique Kidjo's song. Pampers will donate one vaccine for every download. Find out more by clicking here.
Many thanks for your continued support Rosie! :)
