Now I know where not to take the kids! Sounds like it was awful, how disappointing. You'd think with all the licence fee we pay that it would be better!

Erica

Oh dear that's not good, thanks for the warning. Were the tickets expensive?

Tim Atkinson

Shame! That sounds a bit of a rip-off, Rosie. Another attempt by the money-men to wring too much out of something, I suppose. But then, the Tweenies have never been the same since Justin stepped out of his Jake/Doodles costume, imho.

Rosie Scribble

Claire, I agree. Disappointing from the BBC.

Erica, not hugely expensive, about £25 for a famly ticket but still far too much.

Tim, yes we felt completely ripped off. Lesson learned.

Dan

To be fair the license fee will probably have little to do with it. It'd be self funding.

We went to see the Tweenies live a couple of years ago and it wasn't too bad. It wasn't great mind you, but the kids enjoyed it. Sounds like it had better production values than the one you saw, although it still was just some people in suits miming to a pre-recorded soundtrack.
