There's a great deal I can relate to in this video. And the timing, for me, is very apt considering the survival post I wrote last week. Thank you to everyone who read it and commented and to those who emailed me privately. I was greatly moved by all the support I received.
The video below tells the story of a woman overcoming obstacles, moving forward and reaching a place of perspective. It sounds very much like the situation I’m in right now, and it’s a nice place to be.
It’s a calm place, a positive place, and there’s the sense that at long last, you’re free to choose your own path. There’s nothing holding you back except yourself.
The video is called ‘Hill’ and it's the latest advert from tea maker Twinings. I’m showing it here ahead of its release on March 4th. The music by American folk-singer Lissie is a cover of Fleetwood Mac’s song Go Your Own Way.
Twinings are hoping it will match the success of their first advert ‘Sea’ which received over 1.4 million hits on YouTube. The video forms part of a campaign to encourage us to take 10 minutes each day to do something for ourselves.
I'm happy to raise a mug of camomile tea to that.
This is a sponsored post on behalf of Twinings.
