I've been largely offline this week. This is partly due to a trip to Surrey at the start of half term week, but also to do with an unknown condition that IJ has self-diagnosed.
She is, she tells me, suffering from Spider Shock. This basically means that she has developed an unhealthy obsession with all things spider-related after seeing a teeny eeny weeny spider the size of a pinhead crawling across the ceiling.
This would be manageable if it didn't necessitate her walking me up at three in the morning, every morning, to tell me her latest spider worries.
So it’s been one of those weeks.
