It is not the sort of product that an eight year old is likely to play with over and over again, but on a rainy day, or when you’re stuck indoors for whatever reason, it suddenly becomes incredibly attractive.
It’s a Play Doh Little Red Riding Hood playset, from the Play Doh fairy tales range. The idea of creating a story with Play Doh characters is a clever one and it certainly has novelty value, even if IJ did seem a little too keen on playing the role of the grandma-eating wolf.
It might look as if I have taken the Play Doh set out to play with and photograph while my daughter is away at school for the purpose of this post. But really – who would do such a thing?
We received the Play Doh Little Red Riding Hood playset (RRP £6.99) free of charge to review. It comes with a small story book, three colours of Play Doh, a woodcutter, Little Red Riding Hood, and a bed which includes moulds to create grandma and the wolf.
It's a great idea and IJ has really enjoyed playing with it. I have it on very good authority that adults will enjoy playing with it too. Ahem.
