I may have mentioned that I have recently been to Israel. So when Canvas Dezign asked me if I would like to receive a free canvas print for the purpose of a review, I jumped at the opportunity and sent them one of my favourite photos from the trip.
Within 48 hours the canvas had arrived and I’m thrilled to bits with it. The quality is excellent and it means I now have a bit of the Dead Sea in my living room. Well not actually my living room as the title of this post suggests, but in my office. The words office/small box room didn’t work so well in a blog post title, you understand.
I will be glancing at the canvas every time the weather turns overcast in the UK or when I need a quick boost.
A glance around Canvas Dezign’s website reveals that a print of this size (approx. 30 x 20 inches) would cost £51 which seems very good value for money, given its size, the quality of the canvas and the high standard of the printing. It arrived ready to hang with care instructions and a discount code for family and friends.
As well as putting photos on canvas, the site sells canvas art prints and wall art and boasts over 400 artworks in their online canvas gallery, including Banksy prints, city places, kids’ art and geometric prints.
A further dig around their site reveals that the company is based in Lancashire, the county where I was born, and all work is undertaken in-house to ensure quality control. I also like their commitment to employing local people. They use only British sourced canvas and all coatings used are non-toxic and free from and corrosive / volatile materials.
The canvas print is fabulous and having researched the company a little further, I like their credentials and their commitment to the environment and the local community. It is a company I would certainly use again.
Full disclosure: I received the canvas free of charge for the purpose of this review.
