The team at Morphy Richards have never seen my house.
Despite that they have still made me a House Proud Innovator, which means I’ll be sent one of their products each month for the next year to review on this blog.
The result will be a house that looks even more sparkling and new than it did in the days before I lost half of my life to Twitter and the other half to blogging.
So I’m very grateful and would like to say a special thank you to Morphy Richards.
I’d also like to let you into a little secret.
The house we live in is a rented property owned by my parents, the Scribble seniors. We have done our best over the last six years to keep it clean and tidy, to regularly hoover, dust and whatever else it is you’re supposed to do with houses that I have told my parents I frequently do.
It’s a house to be proud of, in my eyes. Now, with the help of the Morphy Richards team over the next year I’ll be in a position to finally let me parents in through the front door, to inspect their own property and to breathe a sigh of relief that their house has been kept in top notch condition.
In the meantime, there’s work to be done.
And rather a lot, as it happens.
