This month we have been casting our critical eyes over some soft toys from Ikea.
We were sent two to review*. The first - a little dalmatian dog - and been been a huge hit. IJ adores him, mainly because he is very soft. Although he's male she has insisted on called him Angelina, for some reason. Priced at £6.12 we are rating him as very good value for money.
The second toy - a little mouse wearing pyjamas - has not been such a hit. IJ has shown little interest in her, so for the sake of this review I am calling her Nameless Mouse. She has been left feeling a little unloved and unwanted.
She isn't as cute and cuddly as the dalmatian dog and it is likely that she is more suited to a younger child, so in search of a home for her we have given her to our two year old niece. The mouse only costs £2.54 which is not a huge expense at all.
The news so far is that she is settling in well into her new home.
Ikea have also developed a clever Facebook application to which allows children with their parents to to create their own book with illustrations. It is worth checking out over on their Facebook page.
*We were sent these toys free of charge to review.
