Frank and Teddy Make Friends is a gorgeous book by talented author-illustrator Louise Yates. The central theme of the book is friendship.
Professor Frank Mouse is a clever inventor who likes to collect, make and mend things. But he is lonely. After watching the bees, birds and other creatures working together outside his shed window, he is keen to join in but too shy. So he uses his inventing skills to create his own friend, Teddy.
But they face problems when Teddy's efforts to make a surprise for Frank Mouse go wrong and he is sent from the house. Whilst banished to the garden Teddy uses his time to help the other creatures and Frank Mouse realises that real friendship is all about sharing. Over time his circle of friends starts to grow, with Teddy's help.

A real top effort on this post. However I don't understand why it came up when I searched for garden tools.
