Occasionally people do things that that are so kind and thoughtful, I'm left at a slight loss for words, which is unusual for me, it has to be said.
Today, one such person was Karin from Cafe Bebe who somehow managed to put together an incredibly impressive blog carnival before most of us would have had time to say "surely it is not possible to compile a post so quickly". Yet Karin did, so do take the time to click over to her site and take a look at The best of the Rest Carnival.
Last week I received my first secret post club parcel and once again I was left feeling moved by the level of thoughtfulness that had been put into it.
It arrived from @Susankmann with a note explaining each of the contents:
- Chocolates - to enjoy
- Balloons - for fun
- An angel bookmark - to look over me while I'm reading
- Bubble bath - for relaxation
- A crystal and a wish card - to bring me joy
I thought it was fabulous and I was so touched to have received such lovely gifts. In fact, it made my week.
Then yesterday both Baby Genie and Yummy Mummy No1 gave me the Sunshine Award.
The timing could not be better. I'd like to take this opportunity to pass it on to some new blogs I have discovered recently. They are not neccessarily new blogs, they are just new additions to my Google reader.
