Thank Crunchie it's Friday - no need to go to bed early and plenty of time to relax.
It's been quite a day.
We have just booked our summer holiday - IJ and me are spending a week in Oxford this year. Last year we did Kingston and York, the year before that it was Leeds and London. We are steadily working our way around the UK.
The holiday is paid for but I now need to raise some spending money. So I've been busy taking on extra work and working out how we can scrimp and save in others areas.
But on our first day of our new economy drive, disaster struck.
Both the fridge and freezer decided, without notice or forewarning, to defrost themselves. Unfortunately they were full of the food at the time so that is now lost.
Damn.
Luckily I complained so much that my mum took pity on us and contributed towards the cost of my unexpected Tesco dash. Thanks Mum!
So this evening I am relaxing with Frank Skinner.
He is hosting "Have I got News for You" in case you were wondering.
And enjoying a bottle of Kaliber.
Shame it's alcohol free.
But the next one isn't!
Mwah ha ha x
